Why do we use Pure Water?
There are several stages to cleaning and detailing a car, from pre-wash to final rinse before drying. During the rinse-off phase, if normal tap water is used it can result in watermarks remaining on the paintwork, chrome, and glass, especially on warm sunny days. This is due to impurities in the water, such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, copper, and iron. If left to dry the evaporated water will deposit the impurities on the surface and will be seen as light grey stains that can be really tricky to remove. If these deposits are left they can also be damaging to the paintwork.
What's the difference with Pure Water?
By using our advanced technology five-stage water system to produce ultrapure water with no impurities, 100% pure water is used for rinsing the vehicle. The system incorporates a reverse osmosis unit and mixed bed de-mineralising resin to ensure consistency of delivery at all times. The nature of de-mineralised water is to try and return to its natural state by actively retaining any dirt, chemicals, and minerals that it comes in contact with.
